(hover images for extra info) If you're logged in, your team's worms will be highlighted, and you can command them from here. 2: The event log. This keeps track of every public changes in the game so you can know what's been going on that you might've missed. 3: The name of the game. Any private messages that might be shown from your actions will be shown under this. 4*: The amount of moves (worms you can still use) you have left. You start each turn with 3 moves. (ergo, you can only command 3 worms per turn) 5*: The currently selected worm and its respective info. 6*: The weapons you currently have (hover them to see the ammo). If you have a weapon selected, it will be highlighted. If it has multiple types, they will be shown under this. 7*: Click this to end your turn. 8: The current wind strength and direction. 9: All the players in the game. If the game has started, this will also show the total health of each team and an arrow pointing to the current player. 10: The terrain health scale, from most (water) to least damaged. *only shown if it's currently your turn Moving your wormsFirst things first. Select a worm by clicking on it. Its movement range will be shown. Now, just click on its destination. Ta-da! That wasn't so hard, was it? If you wanna get a clearer view, you can unselect the worm by clicking on it again (you don't need to unselect it to select another worm). The worm will not actually carry out a path to the square you click, but just "warp" there, since there are multiple possible paths to any given square. So don't expect it to just pick anything up along the way, you have to move the worm to the crate yourself. Remember you can't move through obstacles unless you use a Jetpack. If you perform an invalid movement, ERROR: Invalid move will be displayed next to the game board. Using weaponsSure you can move, but you won't do much harm unless you actually pull out the big guns! Again, select the worm you want by clicking on it, then select the weapon you want to use. The range (target range, not the weapon's effect radius) will be shown on the game board. Just click on where you want to target your weapon and you're done!Multiple-shot weapons work the same as using a weapon multiple times. A worm cannot use any other weapon after he has fired one shot, and any pending shots will be shown in the Selected Worm info. Wind-affected weapons will show a range taking in account the current wind. For weapons with a large area of effect (eg. Air Strike), you'll always be targeting the center. Weapons without aim (eg. Armageddon) and utilities will be used as soon as you select them and no range will be displayed. Instant-effect utilities are activated as soon as you pick one up from a crate. Any utilities currently in effect will be shown above the weapons panel. Special settings for weapons (eg. Mine) will be shown below the weapons panel once the weapon is selected. You can go back to movement mode by clicking on the weapon again to unselect it. Your profileThis identifies you to the world! Anyone can view your profile, but only you have control over it. Q: Why can't I move my worm to a square within range? A: The pathfinding is simplified so it's faster, but in turn, it might not always find a path for longer movements. Just move your worm square by square until your destination is available. Remember you can't move through obstacles unless you use a Jetpack. Q: Can I move diagonally? A: No. Moving "diagonally" counts as moving vertically and horizontally at once (and costs as much). Q: Does the order of commands matter? A: No. For example, you can move and then fire; You can fire and then move; You can move, fire, move another worm, then go back to the first worm and move it some more; You can do whatever you want (within the rules). Selecting/deselecting worms doesn't end their turn nor affect the game at all. Selecting a worm doesn't count as a command and won't subtract from your Moves. Moving and firing don't interfere with one another. You are free to carry out commands as you see fit. Q: I'm getting some nasty looking Parse Error's, what's going on? A: The site is undergoing an update, just refresh in a few minutes.
